Mr. Rao is a Gold Medalist, in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, & Post Graduate in Plant Engineering & Management from JNT University.
Mr. Rao has over Four decades of experience in the corporate sector at leadership position in Larsen
& Toubro Ltd & public sector undertaking Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd. He has also, served as Director, Oil
&Energy Sector, UAE, responsible for Strategy and developing EPC business in Oil & Gas Sector in
Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Region.
Presently, Mr. Rao is serving as an Executive Director, Chemtrols Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and works as an
Independent Management Consultant for EPC Business in Hydrocarbon sector.
Mr. Rao has traveled extensively & is well - networked across the Hydrocarbon & Engineering Industry
and Global Supply Chain.
Mr. Rao’s passion is in developing People Skills, Networking, building & managing long – term
relationships, Profitable growth though Operational Excellence, continuous process improvement,
optimum resource allocation / utilization and Talent Development & Management, understanding of
business drivers, latent potential & group dynamics in a Team.
